Downloading and installation is carried out at your own risk. I'm just relaying the information. As long as you follow ASH8's instructions in post 2777 to the letter you should be OK. I've upgraded the CMU firmware twice so far with no ill effects following the instructions from ASH8.
Note in the changelog that the condensation warning for the front camera appears to have been fixed.
