I doubt that. I scrape rust out of rock-chips on my CX5 very regularly. Bought the touch-up pen specifically for that. As soon as I see orange/red, I get out the knife, prep it, and paint over. It looks bad, but it's better than rust, and it's what we got with thin shitty Japanese paint.

Lots of owners don't do what you do. You're one of the more conscientious

    I use one of these:

    https://gorillaladders.com/product/glwp-47p/

I picked it up a few years back on a homedepot black Friday sale for about $20-$30 if I remember correctly. I really like it as is folds flat and I can easily hang it on the wall. It's long enough where I can reach front to back on the roof with out having to reposition the platform.

Clicking on the HomeDepot link reveals a price of $53.48.

Nice idea, but I'll continue using the 2-step stool that I already own.

You got to get it on sale! I bought mine during the black Friday sales event and it was $20-$30 if I remember correctly. There are other options out there but I liked this one cause it folds flat so I can hang it on a wall. I have a whole "detailing" wall that I hang all my equipment on, polishers, platforms, bottles, brushes, that sort of thing. It's nice to have it all in one spot.
