    TPMS compatibility

Just bought a 2018 Touring and looking to swap out the pizza wheels asap and searching ebay to score a used TPMS set for the aftermarket wheels. Are all the Mazda TPMS compatible with each other or do different years use different sensors (ex: would a '13 cx5 sensor work on '18)? And can you use them across models such as a sensor from an older Mazda3 on a Cx5? Thanks in advance.

There are no valve stem sensors in the 2013-2016.5 models, it is ABS based instead.

Personally, I'd avoid a used TPMS sensor. Since the first thing to fail on them is usually the battery, why start out with a unit that has less than optimum battery performance? I'd go new aftermarket from someone like Tirerack. There have been reports in some of the winter tire threads of good success at a cost of about $50 per sensor.
