Hi, new to the forum, glad I found it lots of great info!

My question, is there a diy procedure to decode existing fobs and reprogramme them back onto the system. I believe there has to be minimum two fobs on system?
I have lost one fob and still retain one.

Thanks sean.

Adding a key fob is a dealer-only task and most of time you also have to show the proof of ownership. The unique ID for each key fob is stored in the car computer, and key fobs can only be added or verified by dealer's service computer.

Never only have on fob. Order one on Ebay / Amazon if you can and have a dealer program.
I bought one on Amazon for $40 and dealer programmed it for $100. Expensive? Yea...but key FROM dealer with programming is $300. So I still saved $160.
