So as I add more miles and have almost reached the break in period I've been able to "train" the transmission to act as my 17 did. Just been driving it harder than normal with series of full throttle acceleration and quick breaking. As soon as I hit 600 miles (per the manual for break in) the fun really begins!

The fastest cx5s didnt have sport mode.
