Hey just bought a 2016.5 Mazda cx 5 and was wanting to take the badges off the back. Was just curious if anyone has does this. I saw on the 2017 it has pin holes to line them up.
I remember seeing a thread on something similar a few months ago. Maybe give search a try.
Not all badges have holes. Some are just stick-ons. Don't recall which were which though.
The only one with alignment holes on a gen 1 is the center “M”. The others come off with monofilament line or dental floss as described in numerous other threads here.
