Hi Folks,
Coming from a Ford background, I used to use software like ELMConfig so I could modify settings on my car, and FORSCAN to run thorough diagnostics of all the cars systems.
One thing I really wanted to do with my Mazda5, was to plug it in and see if there were hidden features I could enable, and settings I could change.
Is there any software I can run? I have read TOAD (Total OBD & ECU Auto Diagnostics) allows for some tweaks to the software, but at over $100, I would want to know I can do a lot with it, before I put my hand in my pocket.
Is there any other software out there, which allows this kind of configuration? ELMConfig for example, was written by a chap in Russia, by the tag of "Civil-ZZ" and is free to use for personal use, I wasnt sure if perhaps some other developers had written a piece of software equal to it for Mazda specifically?
