Felt Pad

Hello

So, like most of you (Im guessing) have discovered scratches on the center console from your seatbelt rubbing against it.

I have done some research, and decided to go with felt pads on the side of the seat belt that rubs against the center console. Will this felt pas hold up to high heat? Im talking like a hot summer day? Is anyone using this method? If so, are you finding it effective?

Otherwise, Im not sure what else to do.

Thanks!

Why not? They are inexpensive and you can use them around the house as well. It’s a simple solution that should work.

Guess we’ll see! I’d imagine goo gone would remove the adhesive if not.

Anyone else having this issue on a 2017 plus?

I just use Drop Stop and it solves the issue, it's very handy to have as well. But those only protect around the upper area where the seatbelt meets the console, if you're talking lower, closer to the floor is where you have rubbing then the felt should work fine.
