I took Madge for a nice run to see a friend of mine in the Niagara Peninsula (come visit this area, it's great!). I had what I think was the most relaxing and enjoyable ride I've ever had. I have loaded 20 GB of podcasts and happily listened to some on my way. Pure bliss.
I am thrilled to bits with the ride, the way the car holds the road and just how quiet a ride I had. It was raining on the way down but the wipers worked great and the Radar Cruise Control worked fine to maintain my position on the road.
I got what I think was great fuel mileage:
7.5 litres per 100 kms / 37.7 miles per Imperial gallon / 31.4 miles per US gallon
My only complaint:
Why can't I have the map directions come over bluetooth from the phone over top of the Podcast? I am tempted to bring a small bluetooth speaker just to hear the directions and still listen to the podcast.
Check out what we saw at the Butterfly Conservatory.
