Issues with locks

So yesterday car starting acting up, when i put car into R the locks didnt lock so annoying beeping was goin on. Went around to all doors and back latch and manually close them...nothing changed. Put into P ten hit lock button then R back to normal. Has anyone experienced this? Havent had time to lock at but what i suspect is happening is this is is issue with back hatch locking mechanism because when it closes it makes odd noise than normal. I did check that nothing is obstructing it.

Raining today so cant investigate but I just drove to store and noticed when driving away after I hit lock button that it tried locking doors after moving (@ 10-20 mpg) basically what it used to do when I take out of P. This car has served me well for 6 years but has had these odd electrical gremlins for the duration?
