Oil Pan "Sweating" Oil/leaking?

So, has anyone had a problem where the oil pan weaping oil from excessive rust? I thought it was my drain bolt gasket, replaced it but still leaked. Thought okay, its the pan gasket, cleaned it up and the upper gasket area is dry but the lower pan is wet?

So from what I can figure is the pan is sort of "sweating" oil? Has anyone experienced this before? The oil pan is pretty rusted and flakey with rust but never had this happen before. Figured I would ask before replacing.

Going to go with a Specta pan from Advance Auto, any expereicen with this brand?

Welp, found the problem, this is what happened when I lightly poked it with a screw driver. Seems the are a few pin holes in that area weeping oil..

Oh man, i need to do that to mine. Im in texas but got my mp3 from up north, so there's rust there that needs fixing.

I did not have that in mind when you mentioned the rust on your oil pan.

Yea it was pretty bad, good thing I caught it in time. I knew the car was leaking pretty good but did not expect this! Lucky a rock didn't hit that corner and dump all my oil out on me!

Got the new pan on and the new front pipe and all is good! Next thing to tackle is the timing belt.
