I usually have done an upper throttle body/engine cleaning in my earlier car using Seafoam. Now I do realize SkyActive-G is a little different. So - is it worth doing it? My ODO is right around 28k and I usually do it approx. right around now. The process I use is simple - add a tube into the throttle plate, re-seal air intake, start engine, start canister. Hot soak for 20 min. Then drive.

your mileage is low, no need.

I did this to an old high mileage honda accord I used to own and it made a huge difference, the idle became a lot smoother and the engine revved/sounded better. but again, at your mileage don't even bother.

there's a "lower" throttle body? (rolleyes)

lol, I was thinking the same thing. I'm pretty sure he meant upper engine (cylinder head) clean via the throttle body, which is totally unnecessary for a modern engine with low mileage, but oh well
