I'm wondering if anyone knows if the clear plastic cover over the instrument cluster has any kind of coating on it? My wife had a bad habit of laying her iPhone on it to use the navigation, proof we need CarPlay, as she doesn't like the cars Nav and it's done a number on that cover. I found a product called Plastx from Meguires that looks like it might work but its advised not to use it if there is a coating as it will take that off. I certainly don't want to make the situation any worse.
