Hi Im looking at installing some LeD flood / light bar at the front. Besides the actual location (got that sorted) whats the easiest to install these. I dont need a switch just hook directly up to high beams is preferable.

Can I simply splice into the high beam cable or something similar. Im concerned about drawing too much current and headlight dim if thats even a thing.

Where do you plan on installing this light bar and a few details about what size and type?

I ask because I thought about installing one on my 2017, I'm not seeing anywhere up front that would be possible without destroying the aesthetics of the sculpted front. I am considering the roof rack somehow, not sure about that either.

Here's placement of a decent light bar on my 2016. I wouldn't wire it directly to high beams as there's DRL issues as well as few other things. Easy enough to get a quote directly into the cabin and switch into wherever you want really. I never use the change cubby next to the arm rest so I put a switch in there it's a touch sensitive one so it's awesome. Wiring is easy and it gives really good night output. Could only imagine had a gone with a rigid industries light bar how well it would work down there. Main thing what year is yours?

Can we get close up pictures of how it is mounted? I am looking to do this to mine.

Anybody put one behind/inside the grill on a 2017+? I've wanted to mount one behind there but haven't really looked at how difficult it might be to get in there. What's the easiest way to access that space? From underneath?

Removing the front bumper is best. Really not difficult; it's too beneficial // makes it too easy not to. I added a RGB/ flood led bar (straight 22" with RF remote) to my '16 GT, hid the switch on bottom lip on the panel under the steering wheel.
The flashing modes are obnoxious, it's fun... I don't want a ticket (basically illegal in CA) so I usually only use the solid amber setting.
This is a newer version of the one I have. https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned)

The remote feature is nice, until it got stolen from my car being broken into, and then the seller wouldn't give me the right replacement for 3 months. Long story, it was Frustrating! I finally received the right remote and all is good.

2014 GT light bar installation was a breeze! Put some hella horns in there while I had the bar off too.
