Is This A Decent Leasing Deal?

i currently have a 2015 Grand Touring With Tech Package on a lease. 42,000 Miles.

My dealer wants me to get into another lease. Due to job changes recently, I'm concerned in the future I'll do more driving that what most leases will allow.

So he is offering

2017 Grand Select AWD

Told me that he discounted car from $31,135 to $29,971

Total incentives would be $3,010

Mileage would be 18,000. Residual would be $17,435.60.

33 Month lease for $343 with $1,000 down at signing.

He is trying to shy me away from buying saying I wouldn't have any warranty left, blah blah.

Thoughts?

Without diving into the details, the lease amount seems decent.

As for lease vs buy, that is an individual decision. For me, I leased my last few cars. I find you pay either way. meaning... if you go over mileage you pay... or... if you put high miles on a car you have a lower resale value. I chose lease for the BMW, AUDI and Mazda since I wanted the warranty for most, if not all, of the lease. Once again, this is really a case by case basis. Next car, I might change my mind and buy it to keep for 7-8 years.

Dealer is offering me 2017 Grand Select Dark Grey for $343

Details are

33 months 18,000 k

$31,135.00 Msrp
$29,781.11 discounted price
$3,010.00 dealer rebates
$1.000 down payment

Residual value $17,435.60 (56%)
Money factor .00001

MA sales tax 6.25%

I believe doc fee and reg fees add up to $700

My calculations minus doc fees I got $269.16. Is the 18,000 limit killing me or does the 343,still seem high on a 17 model?
