Those are so much better looking than the pizza [emoji487] wheels in my opinion.

First driveway wash of the year and put the summers back on. I think the snow is basically gone for good, supposed to be all double digit temps this week. :D

Another month or two and I'll be doing my first clay and polish, oh joys......

2 things,

1 - We are on our 3d CX-5 as well! (yippy) My wife won't get anything else, I even showed her the X1 at the time, but it was that ugly 1st gen one. If it had been a bit later, we'd probably have two BMWs in our garage.

2 - Those rims are the bee's knees! Imma check with the German dealer about them.

E>F everyone knows that! I had the new one for a loaner no M pack like mine but did had sport seats like mine- new design of the seats (both base and sport) is horrible so fn uncomfortable and its no longer capable of drifting (its a nice looking Mini now let's be honest) so its effectively dead to me:) M2 or bust!!

Those gunmetal wheels are sweet but end up making that chrome look even worse imo

Nice. What camera did you use?

You know a friend has just paid about another 10000 ($14000) for a VW Tiguan and in looks and definitely how its appointed inside, it is nowhere near as nice as the current CX-5 IMHO.

The Pizza wheels look OK if you have them painted a similar colour although I do really like those Canadian 19s.

I test drove the new tiguans before choosing the CX-5. The Tiguan felt like a weird car morphed into a suv. The steering wheel wasn’t in a good placement. The head room was not enough I felt Big and uncomfortable in it. And I’m like 5”11, 170.

I actually liked the Tiguan's interior. It mostly came down to pricing and features for said price for me. Along with the exterior appearance, which I find a little weird in the Tiguan, especially the new model.

No, I took them to a professional wheel shop where they shot blast them and then power coat and lacquer them.

This next one not mine but shows the wheel shop!

Your treatment on OE 19" wheels has definitely transformed them to much nice-looking wheels! I was wondering how much it'd cost for doing it ⋯

It cost me 280 (about $350). I can only suggest you phone round. I’m not a big lover of aftermarket wheels and didn’t like the “gunmetal” so for me it was the obvious solution. Its also a good way of revitalising corroded wheels of course.

Just picked up our first Mazda! After testing 10 cars including RAV4, CRV, Outland PHEV, and used Q5, RX-350, NXt, and GLK...the CX-5 was honestly the obvious choice! I look forward to spending WAY too much time browsing this forum in coming weeks :)
