As many of you Soul Red owners know, the paint is peeling off and chipping at an unreasonable rate.
I personally have five chips on my hood, with less than 3,000 miles on my 2017 CX-5.
I've seen countless complaints from other Mazda owners on this forum and other forums as well.
I've been in contact with Mazda on this issue, and they've agreed to setup a meeting to have a paint specialist inspect my car, to determine the cause of this defect.
During this meeting, I would also like to show the paint inspector images from other Mazda owners.
If you have images of paint defects that you would like me to share, please post them on this thread, or email them to me at sjtilney@gmail.com (preferred).
Please include the year, color, and estimated miles when the chipping/peeling started.
If you know of any other forums threads which discuss this issue, please share all of those as well. I will be sharing everything during this meeting, so that they understand this is not an isolated issue.

If you have a paint defect, please fill out this Mazda form to let Mazda customer service to let them know this issue exists. The more people that make Mazda aware of this defect, the better.

My goal is for Mazda to take responsibility for this issue, and for Mazda to correct the paint defects on our cars.
