Hey all! I have 2006 mazda 3

So over the last two days my mazda has had an issue arise !

When I start the car it seems the RPM'S jump all over the place, lights dim etc etc almost stalls out.

As soon as I rev the car for 5 seconds the car idles back to normal RPM and is driveable afterwards

Ive also changed spark plugs, cleaned the MAF, also checked for cracks.

Could it be my EGR valve? The error code is p0171 to lean.

I also recorded a video of it.

Possible causes
Intake air leaks
Faulty front heated oxygen sensor
Ignition misfiring
Faulty fuel injectors
Exhaust gas leaks
Incorrect fuel pressure
Lack of fuel
Faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
Incorrect Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose connection
* What does this mean?
Tech notes
If the P0171 is combined with the P0174 code, it's very likely that the problem is caused by an intake leak. If there are no intake leaks, the next step is to replace the air filter and clean the air flow meter. If the problem persists the front oxygen (O2) sensor may need to be replaced.

Seems o2 sensor is most likely the problem 9 outta 10 times
