2017 CX 9 GT firdt trip and MPG

New 2017 CX 9 GT, just took it on a 1,000 mile trip. On my trip north to Santa Cruz through tough LA traffic and cruising at 75 mph I got 25 mpg. On the way home I eased up and cruised at 65 and I got 29.5. At one point I was over 30.5 mpg, but again LA freeway traffic lowered my avg. Very happy with the car and mileage

my first trip with the cx9 was half highway and half mountain road.. I went without looking about the gas consumption .. around 160kmh (100mph) on the high way and quite fast on the curvy mountains up and down.. going from sea level to 16000 feet ... and back .. so at the end I was quite surprised of the consumption of the trip that gave me a result of 20mpg.. which is very very eficcient compared to the 16 mph I got with my former santa fe v6 on the same trip a year before... ah and 25 mins less time on the cx9 than the santa fe.
