Just bought an 03 protege 5 for a few hundred. Needed some brake work and had a power steering leak. The leak was coming from the cooling line routed in front of the radiator. I bypassed the cooling line. However I am concerned that could cause overheating of the power steering fluid/pump. Should I replace the cooling line just to be on the safe side? Do I need even need to worry?
