I use ONR Wash and Wax once about 3 months. So far it has done its job really well although I question a spray wax during drying instead of wash and wax.
The process worked since I am just too lazy to do the whole clean / wax etc. process. Up until I noticed something.
The right side of the vehicle had water spots. On body and door windows. They were very consistent - the way I Park - right side is exposed to the sun from 1PM onwards till 6. So any water via sprinklers or even washing a panel that is so hot - is a problem.
Also noticed scratches near rear hatch window. It seems that they were scratched when I cleaned the windows.
If you zoom in you will see scratches next to the rear glass.

Method I used:
1. Wash the panel that has water spots or scratches.
2. Use Meguiars Quick detailer QD and clean the panel.
3. QD and a clay bar to lift contaminants - wipe with microfiber. At this point if you move your hand over this and untreated panel you should feel the difference.
4. Scratch X from Meguiars with a micro fiber towel - treat the areas, dont treat the whole panel. wipe off excess with cloth or QD + cloth. Repeat if needed.
5. Meguiars Gold Wax. Even coat, wait 2 mins run your finger, if you see smears - wait longer. Wipe with microfiber.
I had to use Scratx twice to get the scratches off. It also removed water spots (hard to take a pic of these). I listed my Meguiars kit for 25 bucks but was glad no one bought it. Very useful kit.
For water marks see my hood - easier to spot where the blue sky is...see the imperfections, these are water spots.
some nasty scratches ...
I will attempt a hood restore today later or tomorrow. Process will be similar. My other side has no water spots. so guessing the Wash n Wax from ONR does a decent job. Not sure if spray wax is better. Never thought i would sacrifice gaming time to clean this but once you see it, you cant unsee it. And the feeling you get during final wipe down is sweet.
Will post - hood restore and window restore (stoners + 0000 wool) pics.
Total cost:
ONR Wash n Wax 12 bucks
Megs full kit - 60 bucks (has about four or five more bottles that i have never used, has clay bar foam pad and a towel, wash mitt - QD / Interior QD, Wax, Shampoo etc etc.
Misc towels - dont buy cheap ones, you save a buck or two but its not worth it. 15 bucks
Single Bucket without grit guard - maybe 15 bucks.
Total - 100 bucks. The 100 bucks will give me atleast 2-3 years of washing and car care.
All in all - i have used ONR and Meg's products and they do a decent job. You can try a once in 3 months wash method but it wont be as simple or fast as ONR - and will probably take 1.5 hour for entire car. 07 to those who wash a car and take every piece apart and clean it, I havent even vacuumed it even once. Probably explains the musky smell.
