All depends on the country.
Nissan:
We say Nissen, USA say Nee-sun
I've always pronounced Nissan and Nee-Sahn. lol
Not Sellika like you guys say, cel-ee-kaBeen driving Nissans for 15 years, and up here we pronounce it thus:
The i in Nissan is the same as in the word it,
The a in Nissan is the same as in the word and.
All other pronunciations are of course, wrong. (sun)
That reminds me, I had a Toyota Celica many years ago.
How do you guys pronounce Celica?
NissenSo...Niss-ann?
Sell-i-ka (i like 'it')
Not Sellika like you guys say, cel-ee-ka
Almost right.
The last part is OK: leeka
The Ce part is more like the se in the word serve, as opposed to sell. Hope that makes sense.
I've always pronounced Nissan and Nee-Sahn. lol
In conclusion you say tomatoe, I say tomato (lol)
Either is pronounced Eether or Eyether (lol)
