Rear wiper motor making noise

My rear wiper motor is loud, can this be fixed or just replace?

Mine seized right up and the wiper was stuck half way up the glass.
The shaft going through the glass was all rusted and seized so I oiled it then put grease on it.

You could try oiling yours as well...
If it's not straining to move the shaft then it may quiet down.

I didn't want to take my hatch apart and remove the motor. I just took the wiper arm off then the plastic cover thing then oiled and greased it from the outside.

If you do take your hatch apart, you could grease the mechanism a bit as well.
