    2018 Mazda CX 9 Pricing

Today, internet specialist from my local dealer came up with a good quote 39,950 USD for 2018 Soul Crystal Red GT AWD. This does not include tax and title and owner loyalty. Is it a good price to pull the trigger? And I should do a 0% APR as well.

I got my 18 Signature for 40,300 after loyalty and before tax and fees with the cash offer. I was told that the 0% financing would increase the price by 1k.

That’s just 2k off. Always shoot for at least 15-17% off. Never ever paid more than that.

    No way you're getting 15% off a new arrival 2018 CX-9's. That's about $6,000 off of a Signature.

It is actually 3.5 k off. The MRP is 43,500$. 7% off MRP. Also, Red Crystal is 700$ more than the regular paint.

Just today, got the Gray GT AWD for 37.6k after 2k cash rebates and 0.5k owner loyalty rebate, which was exactly 40k out-the-door. Ultimately opted for the 0% financing for 63 months and gave up 1k of the cash rebate for it. Thought it was a great deal!

Not a 2018, but my new 2017 story.

We had a nice 2012 CX9 GT, but my wife totaled it in a car crash. She is OK, the car did what it was supposed to do, significant front end damage, driver air bag deployment. She T boned another SUV at around 35 mph. The insurance company (state farm) was awesome, they gave us over $20,000 for my 5 year old car with 72,000 miles. The claims adjuster said it was the cleanest 5 year old car he had seen. I babied the car, detailing it 2x a month, inside and out.

So, we stuck with Mazda and got a new 2017 CX 9 GT AWD, Pearl White, with tan interior. The new car is amazing. Mazda has really stepped up their game. I'd put this car up against a BMW or Mercedes. The leather is so comfortable. The ride is solid and quiet. You can just feel the quality of the car when you sit inside, close the doors and it drives so nice. I'm still getting used to all the technology and gadgets. The safety features are great. I love the HUD.

I paid $36,900 (sticker was $43,410)and did my own financing with 1.95% from my credit union. I put the $20k from the settlement down, so the cash back was better than the 0% financing from Mazda.

We are going on a long road trip next weekend to UC Santa Cruz to watch our daughter swim in a college swim meet. Should be close to 1,000 miles round trip. Looking forward to seeing what kind of mileage we'll get. I'll keep you posted.

Tiddi, so you got out the door price of 40K with 63 months on a 2018. Right? I was thinking of offering 41.5K (including owner loyalty) out-the-door with 0% 63 month loan. May be I should offer even lower.

State farm do not lowball. They are also first to kick you out if you are not in the "safe" customer zone. But 20K for 2012 CX-9 with that many miles is really good re-sale. I will be in market for a CX9 soon. It has only 1 real competition - Highlander. Honda's styling is bland and we dont need 8 seats. None of the other brands Nissan / Kia / Hyundai that rely on price arbitrage appeal. Never been fan of Ford / Chevy - plus resale for these brands suck balls.
I am so happy with my CX-5 I want to give my business to Mazda again. Only question is will a signature fit in my budget.

Thanks everyone for sharing your pricing information. I am excited to take delivery of a 2018 Soul Crystal Red GT today. I talked to three dealers and the best I can get is 42,300$ (39,300$ base + tax and fees) out the door, with 0% financing. This includes the loyalty bonus as well.

Suddenly I see lot of new CX9s and CX5s in my area and the sales guys seem very busy as well. Looks like there is a better demand for the Mazda SUVs.
