Are all these transfer case issues simply from a loose yoke nut?

First off, I'm aware of all the issues with the transfer case/PTO failures on the CX9 and I regularly check the fluid condition and level on my wife's 2007 GT with 147k miles.

Recently, I was under the car to replace the driveshaft due to the failed driveshaft support bushing/bearings and while researching information on youtube I stumbled across this video:

Apparently, the yoke nut on the output of the transfer case is loose or becomes loose over time, allowing excessive vibration and fluid leakage from the yoke leading to eventual premature failure.
I checked the nut on my CX9 while the driveshaft was out and low and behold, it was loose by 3/4 of a turn.

I apologize if this has already been identified, but I was unable to find a thread with this particular fix, so I'm bringing it to the attention of anyone who may be able to salvage a transfer case that hasn't failed yet. It might just save it.
