Plastic strum Help/ Trim!

Hey guys!

So, after much debate, I had my windows tinted 20% this morning! They look great on the white paint!

I’m the process of doing the tinting, I managed to get a few more surface scratches on the driver and passenger piano black plastic trim. This stuff is driving me nuts! Is there anyway of removing them effectively? How about Meguiars Plasti-X?

Any help would be great!

Maybe like me, they have resigned to use fact that we have no choice. I think nobody has tried that or the plastidip. Im planning on buying PPF (Paint Protector Film) but we don't have any available here in the Philippines.

Always start with the least aggressive polish that you can. For Plastic trim like you're talking about that would be Plasti-X from meguiar's. Start there with a clean soft microfiber towel or a waxing pad and see if you get the results you want. What can happen with plastic cause its so soft is that the abrasives of more aggressive polish can leave a haze or micro marring in the finish.
