Hey guys, anyone heard this noise before? Seems to be coming from the passenger side where the driveshaft enters the transmission. With the wheel off the ground it can be heard as a click,click,click while rotating in the forward direction. No click in reverse. Doesn't sound like CV's. Gets louder/quicker as speed increases, not affected by gear changes or temperature. VIN is JM0KE1031 - built NOV 2014 - so appears to be outside of TSB 05-004/14?
We are heading off on holiday with two small kids in the car tonight, so hoping we don't get stranded in the middle of nowhere with a stuffed transmission!
Out of curiosity does anyone know or have a diagram of the bearing arrangement is on the passenger side of the transaxle? The car was in an accident before we brought it, i'm wondering if the impact damaged the bearings?
