Anyone got any good fix or short term fix to an exhaust leak? I'm pretty sure it's where the two exhaust flanges meet.

..., I personally have had great luck with copper rtv!

I've done that too... It works great.

The exhaust pressure likes to get under the patch and blow it off, so I would goop it on then wrap it up with wire then goop more on top.
Reinforced patch.. It's good for over 700 F...

This is my fix of choice. It can be used with mesh to cover large holes or seal your flanges. Once cured claims to be a "metal like substance".

I've used that stuff too... The heat of the exhaust pipe "cures" it.
I didn't like it too much because it hardens like ceramic then it cracks and crumbles off... It's kinda sloppy to work with and is caustic as well.

The copper silicone stays flexible and there is gonna be movement where the flanges meet.
