2017 CX5 GS Snowflake Pearl
Hello! I'm new to this forum and recently purchased my first Mazda, a 2017 CX5 GS in Snowflake white pearl. I live in the city and I'm concerned with people hitting my rear and front bumpers when parking. What bumper guards would you recommend? Bumper bully? Anything nicer that would go with the car? Thank you!

Can't say I like but an option for your '17.

You will need to get a 2" receiver installed but on the rear get a Weathertech Bumpstep. I use these on my CX & GX.

If you ever decided to get a carrier for the top this helps with loading as well. I don't have any recommendations for the front.

I would prefer to install rear bumper bars, but have no idea if they would interfere with the BSM or rear traffic sensors. Any ideas? I would consider the Bumpstep if the bars don't work out. Thank you.

Sorry.. I don't have any recommendations. Hopefully someone will chime in with what you are looking for.

When I am not using bump step I leave the ball mount in my hitch receiver on my CX. No laws against it in my state.

I also use the WT Bump Step. While it is not very attractive, I will sacrifice looks for extra protection. It looks better the closer you can get it in the hitch receiver, but I find I need to go an additional hole forward to give me enough space to use the step to access the cargo area without my foot touching the bumper. I use the Flexframe license cover for the front.

Had previously posted but due to technical issues it was lost. I know this is an old thread, but was wondering what you ended up doing to protect your bumper. Im interested in seeing what the bumpstep Xl looks like and if it blocks the backup sensors. Any pictures would be helpful thanks.
