Steel/aluminum Manufacturer for Mazda?

Mazda is supposedly is still looking into which cars and what parts of the car are affected by these.

Fro Mazda, only CX9 and MX-5(Miata) are affected.
The scandal only affects aluminum and copper products, not steel.

Kobe Steel disclosed Sunday that its staff had falsified data about the strength and durability of some aluminum and copper products, and said Wednesday that iron ore powder data may also be suspect.

Iron ore is the raw material used to make pig iron, which is one of the main raw materials to make steel98% of the mined iron ore is used to make steel.

Well, the vehicles DID pass crash and crush tests...so lie or not, unless it's a recent or "only sometimes" thing, they are still hella stout.

When companies falsify quality data like this it usually comes back to bite them in the a$$. If Kobe did falsify data, then they deserve to take the loss, IMHO.
