    Are B4 no good ?

I will install on the 18th weekend so I still have some time

Others must be installing it as a bunch of site keeps running out of the left front shock

I had to order it from somewhere else

I will try to get measurement as you asked mid next week

Interesting how you came to that conclusion. But the reason is they never offered the B4 (or anything) for the Mz5 till some point within this year. IIRC, their air suspension is built on the base of B4.

I can't tell from the pic but does it have country of origin/mfg? I faintly see 'Germany' but not sure if that's a generic reference to their HQ or mfg. Nonetheless, that look like it is well built. Finishing look nice and the welds are clean. I will be 2nd online to get these when I'm ready to replace mine.

    Bilsteins are done

    New strut mounts done.
    New brakes done
    New trans fluid done.

Car rides fantastic with the bilsteins. It is a lot more composed. A little "harsher" than before, but I love it. Over bumps, the rebound is fantastic. Wish I had these on the car from new.

Next is to mount the new tires I have and align it, and be done.

    Yes Bilstein.

To do the brakes, trans fluid, all suspension, took me total of 5.5 hours with hand tools.

Nice... Iím glad to hear. Iíve heard nothing but positive reviews with these struts over at the BMW forum so Iím happy to share the word with this forum too. What springs did you use? I like how the Bilsteins are sporty yet offer a compliant ride, very durable struts as well.

I have had bilsteins on many of my other cars
So I am familiar with them

But our mazda5 is the family beater
Wasnít expecting to spend the money for shocks at such a young age

Currently I am on stock springs
