I know there was another post about roof rails a while back, but I cant seem to find it again so sorry if this is repetitive.
Looking to get roof rails for my CX-5 and I was originally just going to do the factory rails + crossbars, but I like the look of something like the Thule Aeroblade (or Yakima / Rhino Rack / etc equivalent) better, and Im sure its a bit more durable. Has anyone gotten the Aeroblade and attached it to the factory rails, and have any opinions on that? Pictures would also be appreciated so I could get a feel of what it looks like
I wasnt sure if it would even attach to the factory rails. I know Thule and Yakima also have options to install the crossbars directly to the roof instead of on rails, but I would much prefer to not do that.
Of course cost is important too, but from what I can tell so far its not a significant difference. Thats some math Ill have to do once I figure out if I can even go that route.
