Hurricane harvey, buyer beware

First at all,
My prayers are with all the people suffering from the devastation of Hurricane Harvey in TX and LA.
A few months from now, we'll see an incredible amount of vehicles that were under water offered for sale at prices that could be "too good to be true".
I am suggesting that any CX-5 owner who had the unfortunate situation of having his/her vehicle under water and the insurance company pay as a total loss, to create a database here in the forum with the VIN numbers to help any future buyer to stay away from them.
Many insurance companies sell those vehicles to resellers and those resellers, got them back in the road, with a clean title, never stating that was a flooded vehicle. Decades ago, a vehicle that was under water was dried up and that was it. Today with many electronic components, could be like playing russian roulette.
Just a suggestion, since we all know, that after a natural catastrophe like this one, this is going to happen.
The very best for a quick recovery to those affected in TX and LA.
