How do you clean the front grille on 2017 CX-5?

Ugh I ended up looking closely after waxing and noticed it's a bit dirty in those little holes. I can't think of a way other than a rag and pencil going in each an every hole.

maybe inquire on a lexus forum? some folks must be keeping those ugly ass spindle grills clean.

Just got done cleaning mine. I used optimum no rinse with a soft bug scrubbers followed by the big red sponge and dried the grille with some plush microfiber. The design of the big red sponge gets into the grill pretty good and pulls the dirt out. It's the best way that I've figured out to this point.

I'd say a soft sponge would help clean it and then dry it with a soft cloth

This is the sponge I was talking about. It has cuts throughout both sides of the sponge to penetrate the grille on the CX-5. It works for me.

That would do it and shouldn't damage the grille

Soft bristle paint brush and bucket of soapy water. Circular motion. Does the trick!
