Anyone modified sway bar links?

I bought the wrong size rear end links for my 02 Protege5. I needed the 6.3s, and I bought "7.5-8.5". After I unboxed them I noticed they were longer, but figured they might work. Will the length change the handling or even work? Any ideas would be much appreciated!

if youre lowered, you may run into the rear control arms tapping the sway bar under compression... but nothing huge. unless youre slammed, this really isnt too big of an issue.

I ended up ordering the right pair. I'm stock height and the ones I purchased originally hit the control arms.

Anyone modified sway bar links?
