Is This Normal

Mazda 2017 CX5 GT Machine Grey
I drive a 2017 Mazda CX5 GT, and I always leave the i-stop active. The car is just over a week old.

I recently noticed when I reached home, step on the brakes to stop the car, i-stop kicks in, and when I put the car to "P" while still pressing onto the brakes, the engine Starts Button light comes on - Green. .....there were times in the early part of the week, when I reached home, park the car, push the start buttoon to shut the engine just to have it start again (this was before I notice the green light).

Today, after the green light comes on, I release my foot off the brakes, then I step on the brakes again and the engine comes to life.

Has anyone encounter this or is this normal due to the i-stop.

Yes, if you press the brake a second time it assumes you are ready to drive again. Same if you use auto hold, push it into neutral and then select drive again.
