Hello all. Does anyone have the specs of all the led bulbs required to convert the interior and exterior halogens of the 2017 CX-5?

I just reused the ones I had in my 2014 mazda3. I believe they're 31mm festoon bulbs. Here are the ones I got for my car, in warm white...

I believe i would need different types for various interior and exterior when converting to led, such as license plate lights, map lights, vanity mirror etc?

Mazda didn't change anything to interior lights and license plate lights on 2017 CX-5. You can get those cheap Amazon / eBay LED kit for any CX-5 for your 2017's. Basically interior dome / map lights use 5 31mm Festoon LEDs、vanity mirrors use 2 fuse-tube type LEDs、and license plate lights use 2 194/168 replacement LEDs. I use this cheap eBay CX-5 LED kit for almost 2 years and have no issues so far:

All CX-5 interior LED kit will fit 2016 MY. I use this https://www.ebay.com (commissions earned) from eBay because they use newer and brighter 5730 rectangular LED chips:

I did install license plate LEDs from the kit. They look nice with white color and aren't brighter than original 5W bulbs. I also used two "spare" bulbs for reverse lights. They look much better with white color but the light outputs are not stronger than original 18W 921 bulbs.

I used this https://www.ebay.com (commissions earned) for vanity mirror on the sun visors for "warm glow" effect:

Personally I'd like to find 29mm festoon LEDs to match the original bulb length but those are hard to find for cheap prices and it's more difficult to put in 4 or 6 LED cells for brighter light. With 31mm LEDs you have to bend some end and side clips a bit but it's doable and won't hurt anything. Also be aware the "prying tool" included in some Amazon or eBay kits is useless! It's too thick and sometimes you're better off by having two pries to pop open the light cover. I use this prying tool set from China with decent results:

A special note for vanity mirror LED selection as those standard 6000K LEDs are too white to person's face for vanity mirror usage:

There're low-priced LEDs having 2800K color temperature which looks like the same as standard incandescent bulb but can be brighter. I found this https://www.ebay.com (commissions earned) for vanity mirror on the sun visors for "warm glow" effect which looks the same as OEM light but brighter:

I like this new style 194/168 replacement LEDs if they're not too bright for you:

Hi,
I can recommend these as they are very bright and also comes in various colours: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Hot-Sale-2pcs-T10-194-168-W5W-COB-8-SMD-1W-80Lumen-Silica-Super-Bright-LED/32692054812.html

They are easy to handle and I like the copper coated contacts on the PC board as well as the clear silicone coating. I have installed them on the licence plate lights and the longer ones on the reverse lights.

Thanks. I'll give them a go. Any tips or advice?
You can read this long thread to get a lot more info about LED interior light and license plate light replacement. Since you have a 2017, you can start reading the thread backwards as some 2017 CX-5 members have posted thier experience and LED technology has been improving. The hardest part is to remove the license plate light lenses but with the plastic prying tool I suggested you may have better chance to remove the lenses easier. Make sure to read the instruction in your owner's manual. And for 2017 CX-5 the reverse / backup lights are LEDs instead of incandescent bulbs in 1st-gen CX-5.

I used this kit and was quite happy with the results. I found the 'tool' that was included to be effective also.

The biggest hassle was removing the covers for the rear license plate bulbs. The included tool wouldn't work for me there and I had to use a flat head screwdriver. Use this information to remove the covers - it helped me immensely. https://www.mazdas247.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=216794&d=1496450274

Ya, those plate light covers were a treat, but doable. Using a bigger flathead is better than a super tiny one.

The rest were wimple as long as you pry at the covers in the right spot.
