You have a Touring with manual HVAC so you can have total control on those airflow directional doors. If you have a diagram showing all of those door locations inside of the air duct main body that should help you to track the possible location the ring is falling into. Hope you can spot the ring with snake camera then decide what to do next.

hope you find it, I think your best bet first is to try the flexible tube camera and maybe it didn't go down to far and you can retrieve it with the flexible grabber....

CRV owner would make sure ring would never ever come off til death do us part. CX-5 owner keeps it loose because life changes quickly. ;-)
