Hi cx9 owners,

Short question: You get 23mpg (combined AWD) with regular or premium gas?

Long history:
I used once gas additive to extend range, and surprisingly it worked... problem was that exact amount ($$) i paid for the 1liter bootle was about the same amoung of gas that i saved (2l of regular gas), so in essence i just filled up my tank with additional gas, total cost... exactly the same (in addition to burning whatever was on the fancy bottle containing only god knows what).

I have heard great to amazing numbers on cx9 (>2016 with 2.5 turbo) performance (reason #1 for buying best 7 row suv ever!!! yeih!!! (eekdance) ) but now I wonder if these 23mpg combined are tested using premium or regular gas?
Theres a lot being said that engine can take both types (premium = more power) and while australian/canadian recommend regular (for lower cost) americans who prefer power say premium is better (more HP) but does it affect MPG or range?

Have you noticed any improvement on range (i expect 850km/528 miles) with full tank while using premium or should i get regular since day 1?
Is this improvement worth the about 10% higher cost of premium or, again, should i get regular since day 1?

Thanks a lot any for any of your comments, lucky cx9 drivers.
