2017~2024 iPad on dash.

I bought magnet vent clips from amazon. They were about 7 dollars for a two pack. I also purchased a reverse lightning cable connector to hide behind the trim. It's plugged into a cigarette lighter splitter mounted under the drivers seat. This way it turns on when powered. I also noticed when connecting anything to The cx-5 via Bluetooth i.e iPad, iPod, or iPhone, there's a audio playback delay about 2-3 seconds. So if you have a video playing on your phone, the video and sound will not be synced. HOWEVER, I found a fix. A Bluetooth to aux module that plugs into the aux in port. Which is great because the iPad automatically connects to it as well without disconnecting my iPhone. Now there's no more delay

I bought a kit from amazon for 18.00 dollars. They have 3m tape on the back. One under each seat In front that I stuck directly to hard plastic under the dash and one under the front seats towards the back, stuck under the sliders for the seat. Wires are tucked in the center console. I do not want to hard wire anything into the car especially since I bought the extended warranty. I have a power adapter from the cigarette lighter that splits into 3 power adapters under the drivers seat. This way they turn off when the car turns off. The iPad is also powered by that splitter. That way it too turns on and off with ignition. I will put links below for products.
