I rebuilt my engine a few months back, and it now doesn't idle quite right. There is vibration, and the RPM needle fluctuates just a bit. It didn't do this before, and I also saw a slight drop in MPG since. Other than idle the car drives fine. Even kicking on the AC compressor fixes the problem. No CELs either.
I am getting about 17-18 inches of vacuum at idle, which seems a little low? However, I sprayed carb cleaner on every area I could think of that could have a leak and haven't found anything.
I also swapped out the plugs to be safe, but since this started after the rebuild I feel like ignition, EGR, o2 sensors, etc. that was working fine before is probably still ok.
What can I check next? Any other ideas?
