I am trying to replace the bottom cushion cover (leather) for the driver seat on my 2016 CX-5.
Unfortunately I got stuck this evening trying to disconnect the power harness for the driver seat. I attached a few pics below, hoping that somebody did it already and can help me.
I managed to pull up on the white tab towards the left hand side on the connector, and that seems to disengage a clip inside, while the tab itself comes out maybe 1 cm. But then, I am not able to pull out the actual connector, and I am a bit afraid to put more force in order not to break it.
I was a able to find an older version (2013) of the CX5 service manual, and there it shows you have to push down and out on the lever (which seems to be the white clip in the pictures), but it looks like the 2016 connector is a bit different and does not work the same.
Has anyone done this on a 2016 ?
