vs Rogue?

The Rogue sells to people who look at the lower sticker price than the competition and take solace in the fact that they are buying an "SUV" and not a wagon. People who want the convenience features at a lower price and don't mind sacrificing driver engagement and confidence behind the wheel to get them.

The rogue sells to people who have $5 in pocket but want to show the world they have $10.
For them buying a new car is very important - ofcourse wise thing to do would be to get a 1 year old CPO Rav4 which will have same resale as Rogue in 4 years time, cost the same as a brand new Rogue and if you decide to keep it longer will be more reliable. But no that would mean I am poor.
As someone said on C/D review of Rogue - most Nissan buyers are in the sub 500 credit range. Nissan makes less $$$ per car then tiny manufacturers like Mazda. Its like a Walmart of car makers - sells tons of stuff that ends up in landfills.
