In mixed. Bam. Topped some air into tires and this next day
If our friendly highway authorities had not messed up highway 121 again with a new traffic pattern --- this is what I was doing (toetap)
For potential CX-5 buyers having mpg questions....
Best mpg is 30 and 50 mph this is where it shifts to 5th and 6th - under light normal torque requirements. Going uphill on 50 you will be in 5th and not 6th.
It tends to downshift when you hypermile - for better control.
Tire pressure recommended by Mazda is 34 (seems low to me - I would run atleast 36) - but if you are going to stick with 34 - it shouldnt be that bad.
More than weight in car - wind resistance kills mpg.
I do a 40 min / 33mph avg. commute mixed. I tend to average 28-31.7 - this was my best so far in a trip despite bad highway construction catching me offguard.
