OEM Trailer Hitch for 2017 CX-9

Has anyone gotten an OEM trailer hitch for their 2017 CX-9? Bought our CX-9 recently and supposedly there was some sort of issue with the OEM hitches not fitting the 2017 CX-9 and they are currently trying to produce new ones to fix the problem. This happen to anyone else? Are there any aftermarket hitches currently available for the 2017?

The OEM hitch for the 2016 CX-9 was a class II hitch - I don't believe they made an OEM class III. We had to buy an aftermarket hitch.

Check here - looks like there are quite a few already available.

I bolted on a Cequent receiver (Draw-Tite, Reese, Hidden Hitch, U-Haul branding), it went on fine, works & looks fine. I see no need for any added cost for a Mazda labeled receiver.
