2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege Partout Thread

About a year ago I had to move due to a $350/mo increase in rent. My MSP wasn't running at the time due to a blown engine so I had to send it off to pick-n-pull, and I yanked everything of value off the car before they came to get it. It's taken me a year, but I'm ready to start offloading these parts now that I have a new project to invest money in. Give me a bit to sort through all the images and give prices. It's a lot, 177 pictures in total and everything from engine internals to body panels are available from the car, some of it is still new in packaging as the car blew before I got around to finishing up the projects I was working on. A few of these parts are going to be MP3 parts as well, which I'll indicate as I go. I have my MP3 still but that thing is fully built and any stock parts I can't use will be listed as well to clean out my garage.

I work in IT and have very little time due to my position to go out and ship things, so bear with me if you need things shipped. All prices are OBO, and local pickup is highly preferred. I live in Redmond, WA. I can drive to meet you somewhere for certain parts, but my new car is an RX-8, so if you want things like the exhaust or the trunk you'll need to pick it up locally or wait for me to rent a truck etc to ship it out.

Ive inquired regarding the gtspec braces the awr oilpan both brake resorvoir caps and a plastic trim around the latch area trunk piece.
 
googoo1oo,i also asked about getting one of the brake reservoirs caps,do you need both?
I know its first come first serve but thought i could ask because it matches my engine bay theme (Blk block/head Blue accessories).

He only needed one of them, already asked him and he said splitting that up would be fine. I'll just toss it in the box with the AXR bracket once I get a quote on that. I think I can just use a USPS flat rate box for that, and just put some bubble wrap around the original package and you'll have it all intact. I get off work in about 5 hours, then I'll head home and get those requested pictures and information.

The FPR is BEGI. The turbo manifold is a Thunder V2, which I believe was only done in group buy a single time. I'll get back to you on the boost controller, I have not used it and will have to take a look at it. I'm guessing manual. I've marked all the stuff you're interested in. I'm guessing you want me to part out the pillar pods and the boost gauge and just do the o2 sensor for you?

Dropped the price on it to $25, didn't realize the things were $50 new on ********** now. Paid more than that way back in the day but meh. I'll let you know if he passes on it.

Yeah I definitely want the vac block, rad overflow, fuel rail, FPR, and turbo mani. I am in no hurry so take your time sorting stuff out. If you have the O2 sensor for the wideband to go with the gauge I am interested, but if you want to sell it together with the pillar that is fine if someone else wants it.

The corksport exhaust will fit all Protege sedans, so it will fit your MP3. And the MP3 axles are the regular 22mm axles in all Proteges, not the 24mm axles the MSP had, but they are all interchangeable and will all work fine.
 
Updated information on the original post regarding the pistons, rods and crankshaft. Crankshaft is lightened and unusued. Pistons and rods actually have 2000 miles on them and are 9:1 compression.

CP 9:1 Pistons with Pauter Rods. 2000 miles of use before a bearing was spun. I never got around to the actual engine rebuild, was just accumulating the parts for it. The rod may be re-usable but I'm unsure. Pauter quoted me $200 for a single rod. - $500 OBO to make it half price from buying new after replacing a rod.
Crank case, powdercoated black, also 1000 miles used (potentially unused but I can't find the PM on that, so I'm assuming 2000 miles) - $200 OBO
Lightened Crank Shaft, unused - $500 OBO
I'll sell the entire package of engine parts for $1000 OBO. This will be a royal pita to ship so preferably I would like to do this locally.

Turbo back exhaust is no longer available. S pipe is officially sold, along with the pistons and rods. Will update the main post shortly.
 
Radiator and BEGI FPR are no longer pending sale. Working on a couple quotes for people and hoping to hear back on specifics regarding the axles by the end of today.
 
interested in the FMIC kit, is there a BOV included? Has the maf been moved or?

any pictures mounted/installed?

No pictures of the engine bay anymore. The BOV is not included, as that was an expensive separate purchase I made and had welded into the charge pipe. I ran it with both BOV and recirculation, and kept the MAF in as well. No CEL's, no issues. You can hear it in this video. If you buy both the Injen intake, intercooler + piping and the HKS BOV You would have my old setup from below.
