It appears an air bag is bolted unto the steering wheel cover. Someone who did the paddle shift retrofit could probably tell you if it could be unbolted off. Or if its one piece.

So...Got the replacement cover from eBay.
The emblem is definitely cheaper looking and not attached like mine is, so when I switch out the covers, going to see if I can switch out the Mazda emblems too.
