Cargo Cover with Rubber Cargo Tray

I'm likely buying a new 2016.5 CX-5 soon. Anyway, I'm looking at accessories and I had a couple of questions.....

1) Can the cargo cover be stored under the cargo floor (above the spare tire)?

2) With the Mazda rubber cargo Tray / Liner, I notice that it goes down into the holes on either side of the carpeted area. With this cargo mat, can you still store the cargo cover under the cargo floor (assuming the answer to number 1 is "yes").

Silly question I know, but I actually haven't been able to find an answer to it so I figured I'd ask.

There isn't much room where the spare tire is unless you plan on talking it off, even than you cant fit the cargo cover. I am amble to hide a ice scraper/snow brush and thats about it.

Next to the Spair tire You can hide a bag of peanut M&M's form Costco from your wife, a bag of gummy bears etc.. LOL...

I usually lay mine on the floor behind the front seats when I'm hauling anything with the seats down and the cargo cover off...
