Danish rusted Protege

Hi guys

I am new as a member. Have read along a while now. I am new in the Mazda world. I am from denmark so sorry for my english. I brought the Mazda 323 F Sportive as its called in Europe few months ago.

I have done some small thing with it all ready and have some plans for it also.

But it started like this.

The plan is

Coilovers
flat black roft
LED lights inside
Short antenna
2 new front fenders because of rust
repair rear fender because of rust
17" 2 or 3 piece wheels
and the list goes on and will definitely come up with more.

I did the easy and cheap things first. Sorry if it gets boring and picture heavy. But here it goes

Fix this, because it didnt worked

To this, more simple and working

Old long antenna

To this short and fat antenna

Small things, but overall a nice cleanup i think.

What is that on the windshield? The FS03 part number makes me think it's an OEM part.

Its a electronic parking disc. And no its not.

Sorry for all the first things here. There a little boring. But i promise that it will by better latter on.

Next thing up was the a old maybe broke off mobile holder.

After that i did the LED swap inside out. I dont have picture of them all. But glovebox, roft, numberplate, trunk

We didn't nor did we have the option for the clock/storage pocket above the radio

Next thing up was this.

I am not sure if this is better but nobody have them in my country. Have only seen it on Protege from US. So i gave it a go. But they have grown on me. And now i really like them now.

While i had the front bumper off I also changed the headlights to the facelift Sedan.

It comes with some big washer and also removed them. Later i will close the holes.

Your rear fender rust doesn't look too bad but just so you know, there are these available in case you need them.

Then i gave it a cleaning inside.

Took out the seats

This cleans every where

And a quick wash also

And then park it inside in the warm

Next step was to removed numberplate holder.

Off with the bumper

And back together, and also doing black logo

I dig those taillights. Still haven't gotten a pair of those for my P5

Here in Europe they are stock till 2002. 2003 models have the ones you have.

Its been a while.

But i have played around with my car.

I wanted to buy some 2 or 3 pieces rims
A buddy of mine had these laying around.

The tires was to big, not a problem. But the ET was 20 and with a 9" the couldnt fit in front.
So for now i am still looking for wheels.

Try to wrap the headlights

Headlights look great, usually I'd be opposed to that, but it's very tasteful.
