Air control wheel/dial for dash (central) vents: options/workarounds?

    Hi,

Recently got a CX-5 Touring and didn't realize there were no air control wheels/dials for the dash central air vents and this really bugs me.

I don't like the air hitting me when AC / Heat is running.

Any ideas to overcome this issue?. Right now I am thinking about getting a vent mounted phone holder to somewhat block the vent nearest to me to get some relief.

    Thanks!!

I would adjust the center vents away from your face, or move the vent selector to the feet...

They move up/down side/side? Oh I see. On my Mazda6 I can completely close one of those vents via the wheel control. For the CX-5 you have to aim away then down/up.

It seems more and more of these small things found on Mazda6 but got eliminated on CX-5 ⋯ Memory seat、Bose dash tweeters and heavier duty center dash speaker、left cubby with covered door、glove compartment light、LED interior lights, now this ⋯

To OP, I also adjust both center vents away from me and change the air direction to foot only or bi-level. The only problem is if there's a front passenger and I can only turn the center vents up and middle.
